Skillet Fudge Brownies


The fun in serving a dessert in a skillet in that you don’t have to worry about cooling and slicing, you just put some spoons on the table and watch everyone dig into these warm and gooey treats.

Here is the recipe to enjoy the desert when you are in a lockdown situation and you can't go out for desserts.  

Ingredients 
  • Unsalted Butter - 1 stick
  • Sugar - 1/2cup plus 1 tbsp
  • All-purpose flour - 1/4cup
  • Baking powder - 1tsp
  • Dark Chocolate chips - 4ounces plus 1/2cup
  • Unsweetened chocolate - 1 1/2ounces
  • Extra-large Eggs - 2nos
  • Coffee Granules - 2tsp
  • Vanilla extract - 1 1/2tsp
  • Kosher salt - 1/4tsp

Instructions
  • Preheat the oven to 350 degrees.
  • Melt the butter,4 ounces of chocolate chips, and the unsweetened chocolate together in a medium bowl set over simmering water. Set aside for 15 minutes. 
  • In a large bowl, stir (do not beat) together with the eggs, coffee, vanilla, and sugar.
  • Now, stir the chocolate mixture into the egg mixture and allow it to cool down to room temperature. 
  • In a medium bowl, sift together 1/4 cup flour, the baking powder, and salt, and add to the chocolate mixture.
  • Toss together the remaining 1/2cup chocolate chips and one tablespoon flour in a medium bowl and add them to the chocolate mixture.



  • Spoon the mixture into cast iron skillet and bake for approximately 20 to 25 minutes depending on your oven. Don't over bake.
  • Serve warm with a scoop of ice cream and sprinkle some kosher salt on top. 

Baking Tips
  • If you over bake the brownie it will become like a brownie not google fudge brownie. So, keep watching and take it out of the oven when it is still gooey in the middle.
  • I used dark chocolate chips u can use any kind of chocolate chip(milk chocolate chips or semi-sweet chocolate)if you don't like the bitterness of the dark chocolate.
